Flame Retardant FDM Filament: Kimya PC-FR is a polycarbonate FDM 3D printing material with flame retardant properties. Designed for compliance with fire safety regulations, this Stratasys Approved Material is highly suitable for passenger rail and air transportation applications. Kimya PC-FR combines the advantages of polycarbonate such as dimensional stability, high impact resistance and wide operating temperature range with flame retardant properties. This formulation results in a tensile yield strength increase of 25% in the XZ plane and an impact strength increase of 180% (without isod notch) compared to standard polycarbonate.
